1. Warranty Coverage

All BearChop cutting boards are covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty applies to defects in materials and craftsmanship, including:

  • Cracking, splitting, or warping due to manufacturing defects.
  • Issues with the structure of the wood, such as bonding or assembly flaws.
  • Problems with durability under normal use conditions.

Note: This warranty only applies when the product is used and maintained according to our care instructions.

3. What Is Not Covered

  • Our warranty does not cover:
  • Normal wear and tear from daily use.

  • Issues resulting from failure to follow care instructions (e.g., improper cleaning or conditioning).
  • Cosmetic issues, such as minor scratches or stains, that do not affect functionality.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or unauthorized modifications.

4. Care Instructions

To keep your BearChop cutting board in top condition and ensure warranty eligibility, follow these care tips:

  • Cleaning: Wash with mild soap and warm water. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher.
  • Conditioning: Apply food-safe mineral oil or board cream regularly to prevent dryness and cracking.
  • Storage: Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight or heat sources.

5. How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe your cutting board has a manufacturing defect covered under warranty, follow these steps:
